The beacon integrates three core distress technologies to maximise rescue efficiency. A GPS receiver determines your position, which is transmitted via a powerful 406 MHz emergency signal through the international Cospas-Sarsat satellite network, providing true global coverage. As search teams approach the area, the built-in 121.5 MHz homing signal allows them to pinpoint your exact location. To improve visibility during night-time or poor weather operations, the unit also features a high-intensity strobe and an infrared strobe.
Activation is straightforward: simply deploy the antenna and press the ON button. Once triggered, the ResQLink begins transmitting your coordinates, guiding rescuers to within approximately 100 metres, often closer. Because the system is government funded, there are no subscription fees or ongoing charges for using the service.
Designed to be carried at all times, the beacon is small, lightweight and features built-in buoyancy, so it floats without the need for an additional pouch. MEOSAR compatible and offering worldwide satellite coverage, it is built for dependable performance wherever you travel.
